For anyone who asks about my method of 'painting' on plywood with pastels, I tell them immediately that it is very impractical - but unbearably fun. My third pastel-on-wood live art gig, I created this during the Kentucky Show at the Brown Theatre in Louisville, Kentucky. As I worked, a series of theatrical performances occured beside me on the stage, and I shaped this up in just under two hours. |
