Graphitint pencils on watercolor paper.

This one is loosely referenced from a group of trees that sits on the edge of the creek just at the rim of
my parent's property. I was seated on a stump just on the other side. Whenever I sit there, and I look
at these trees, the way they are clustered and so distinctly shaped makes me think of a council of elders.
They're not very old trees, but I'm sure that they are wise all the same. This painting is more like a capture
of their colorful energies.
