Live Art is the creation of visual art in a public setting - where an artist is exposed to the whim of the moment and the energy of the crowd. It can be both spontaneous or planned, but it is always awe-inspiring, and a remarkable endeavor to witness. Sarah Frary chooses from a vast range of mediums (or whatever is at her disposal) when it comes to her own exposition of live art: from ink to paint to chalk pastels and beyond. Inspired entirely in the moment, she creates from whatever muse fancies her at that focal point in time- often conjuring large, colorful pieces on whatever surface is provided. It is a challenging but purely liberating exploration of both herself and technique.

A Sharpie Tattoo is just what it sounds like - a rendering of art on the human skin with sharpies. This activity was discovered on the whim when Sarah Frary was invited to a LEO Choice Awards event to do sharpie tattoos on the attending guests - and it was a hit that grew ever since. The oils of the human skin act as a medium for the sharpies, and with each tattoo she blends colors and creates enticing contrast. Now, she is sure to have a bag of sharpies with her at any convention, and nothing is more rewarding than the look on someone's face after they receive a custom piece of skin art.
